Neuralis ("we", "us") is a part of Amala Innovation Group. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles to the extent they apply to us.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address, company (optional), the topic you choose and your message. With each message we also record the time it was sent and the page it was sent from.
- Email. Whatever you include when you write to info@neuralis.co.
- Analytics. Pages viewed, the site that referred you, browser and device type, screen size, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the time of each visit.
- Spam check. Cloudflare Turnstile reads signals from your browser and device to tell people from automated bots when you use the form.
- Hosting logs. Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this site, processes request data such as IP address and browser details to serve pages and protect the site from attacks.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it through the form.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
- To see which pages are useful and improve the site, using aggregate statistics.
- To protect the site and the form from spam and abuse.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Contact form and email delivery
When you send the form, it goes to a small program that runs on Cloudflare. That program checks the spam test with Cloudflare Turnstile, sharing your IP address with Cloudflare for the check, and then delivers your message to our team inbox using Cloudflare Email Routing. Mail sent to info@neuralis.co is forwarded the same way. Messages are then stored in our email system.
Analytics without cookies
We use Matomo, an open-source analytics tool, running on a server operated within our group rather than by an advertising company. It is set up with cookies turned off, so it does not store an identifier in your browser. Matomo receives your IP address through this site so it can count visits and estimate your general location. We use the results in aggregate, for example how many people read a page.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, for example while running a security check. Cloudflare's handling of Turnstile data is described in its Turnstile privacy addendum and privacy policy.
Disclosure and overseas processing
We share personal information only with the service providers that run this site and our email, and where the law requires it. Cloudflare and our email provider may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We use providers that apply recognised security practices to the data they handle.
Security and retention
Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to reply and to run any work that follows. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them for that purpose and for our legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete them. Analytics data is kept in aggregate.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@neuralis.co. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm who you are first.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, email us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site or our providers change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
